[Mi-sky] family/student access letters

How are other districts dealing with letters home for family and student
access?  We did a mass mailing but now as students trickle in we don't
really want to have to constantly generate one or two letters here and
there.  Do you do a mailing once a marking period just for the new
students or what?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
