Bob,
When we first started Family/Student Access, we also did a mass
mailing home to families telling them about Family/Student Access and
giving them their logins and passwords. After that, I had the auto
e-mail system send me an e-mail when new students enrolled. Then, I
would send them a letter giving their guardians and the students
their logins & passwords and telling them about Family/Student
Access. This worked well but became very time consuming.
So . . . I made a brochure explaining Family/Student Access and we
include it in our enrollment packet. We kind of "put the ball in
their court" to contact us to get a login and password. I can send
you a brochure if you want to see it.
