[Mi-sky] Cloning Academic Areas in Standards Report Cards

We have changed to Trimesters and we can not clone last years "Academic
Areas" in our Standards Based Report card.  The Path in the Web based
Skyward was:   ... | Gradebook | Standards | Standards Gradebook
Utilities | Clone Academic Areas for New Year.   The error reported was:
 
Failure: Academic Area could not be copied. Total number of terms does
not match up.
  It doesn't matter that they match up.  I really just want the report
card information and benchmarks that are set up in the Academic Areas. 
Does anyone have suggestions other than retyping everything?
